Whether you've been part of the Last Friday Club since the very beginning or you've never heard of us — welcome. This is for freelancers, small business owners, side-hustlers and anyone building something they care about.

We're marking a decade of community, connection and kazoo-worthy wins with a morning you won't want to miss.

Here's what we've got lined up:

"How We Failed Forward" — an honest panel about the bits we rarely put on LinkedIn
A guided social media session — post something live on the day and leave with tips you'll actually use
"It's Never Too Late To..." — inspiring local business owners on pivots, leaps and fresh starts
Celebration Awards — because your wins and business journey deserve recognising (kazoos at the ready!)
- Plus plenty of time to connect over tea, coffee and treats

No sales pitches. Just good people, good conversations and a few laughs along the way.

Why a Festival of Business?

Business awards are flawed by their design; they celebrate the few and not the many. We want to change that with an event where everyone can be celebrated and feel supported.

When Debbie and Emily created the Last Friday Club in 2016, they wanted to create a business networking environment for the solo entrepreneur who was just starting on their journey or those that were many years in that had wisdom to share or still something to learn. All in the aim of feeling supported, whatever stage they are at.

From our earlier days meeting in coffee shops and bars, we've grown into a vibrant community of 100s, and regularly welcome more than 50 business owners who gather monthly to support, inspire, and collaborate with one another.
