Our January meetup was hosted by Rosie and Lucy, co-founders of Rume2Chichester’s newest, and arguably, best co-working space.  Not only was it our biggest meetup to date, with over 50 attendees, but we were also lucky enough to have a guest speaker – none other than Sarah Ayton, a double-gold medal winning Olympian.

Sarah spoke about goal setting and motivation and it’s fair to say we were all transfixed.  Some of the key messages she shared, which resonated with many of the audience, were around having a purpose – staying focused and minimising distraction – introducing processes and sticking to routines.

Many of us also got to hold an actual Olympic gold medal, which she won in Athens 2004 – a pretty special morning all round. You can find out more about Sarah on her website.

As always, great to see so many new faces too – welcome to the Club.  Thanks again Rosie, Lucy and of course Sarah for you time and generosity.

February meetup will be at Boston Tea Party on Baffins Lane. If you haven’t registered yet, please do so via Eventbrite promptly as it’s filling up!

See you soon, Debbie and Emily
