Our February meetup was hosted by Annie, general manager of Boston Tea Party Chichester. Using this venue is slightly outside of our usual remit of supporting independent venues in the city, but sometimes there are exceptions to be made. BTP is independently-owned and one of their key objectives is to work closely with and support the local community, which they do very well by:
– use of their space free of charge for small local business events (like ours, albeit not so small!)
– after school activities
– talks with local speakers
– supporting local charities, like the City Angels
– leaflet exchange and noticeboard
A number of members shared their news and events and we were able to connect quite a few of those in attendance who were looking for specific support or skills. So all in all, a very productive morning.
As always, great to see so many new faces too – welcome to the Club. If you missed connecting with another member on the day or need a reminder of who was there please email Debbie [email protected]
Please do connect with each other via your social media channels – scratch each other’s backs – like, share and comment when you can. Think of us like one big, supportive marketing pod. 🙌 .
If you use the hashtag #LFCChi and add @LastFridayClubChi to your posts or Stories we will reshare/repost.
March meetup will be at Pallant Gallery Restaurant – it is currently sold out but there is a waitlist, email Debbie directly if you’d like to be on this list. Speakers will be Emma and Ben of Cameron James Legal – some myth-busting you don’t want to miss.
